The Evolution of Online Writing
Sometimes ago, it baffled me how some people, often called ‘the great writers’, practiced and heartily adored the art of writing. It never really occurred to me how someone could treasure and uphold a practice that I deemed too shallow, inept and kind of immaterial. These writers undertook their work so seriously and expertly that they exercised their utmost security measures to ensure that their work could not get leaked to not even their most treasured friends or loved ones.
Writers of various fictional stories and analogy poetry in their recent past occasionally wrote some very admirable pieces of fathomable articles and enlightening stories that were meant to educate or inform the reasoning and learning experiences of the generations to come. Writing was a cultural innovation that took foot gradually, in our societies, and remained within a selected few, until very recently when technology emerged and taken over the noble task hence giving it a new experience and dimension.
It however goes without saying that true writing began to develop in Sumeria and in Egypt from about the fourth millennium B.C.E.
My Passions in Reading and Writing
Writing has since developed into a developmental tool that has enabled various personalities to achieve their goals and follow their dreams to the fullest of their capacities. I have been a keen follower of various writers due to my passion for writing and the need to learn more about improving my writing prowess until the information age arrived at my doorsteps.
I was the third born in a family of four brothers, all my elders, although there was a wide difference in years between me and my closest brother. They had accomplished a lot in terms of educational progress, having won numerous awards for their writings, but I was only in my first year in college. However, I co-existed with them amiably and not just anyone could identify our difference in age due to the nature of our interactions.
They were great writers and their work had been recognized and authorized for use in schools by the state department of literature, for having the content that could contribute immensely in the growth and development of creative writing, language and literature among students at their various levels of literary learning. I actually studied two of the books written by my brothers, one as a set book and the other as a short-story novel.
Enriching Lives through Books
I personally liked their art of writing and in most instances, I loved reading their work and also took a personal initiative of encouraging my age mates to read and spread the word to other peers about the work of my brothers. I felt that I had an obligation of spreading the gospel of my brothers that I deciphered was good enough for all and sundry. Day by day I grew fond of spreading the word through publications and outdoor posters to make known to the world around about their work.
After I had completed my college education, having pursued a degree in language and literature, I embarked on promoting my brothers’ work. Technology had advanced to the levels of publishing books online. Remembering my dire need to support my brothers, I made it a mission to ensure that my brothers’ work could got recognized by the online community.
I started re-writing their work in phases in form of continuous e-books that witnessed a huge readership and following of their stories. I realized that the online community loved and appreciated their work and that gave me even more inspiration to continue publishing their work. This enlightened me even more and inspired me into completing their mission. Their books sold numerous copies online and exposed me into the world of online writing. Through that experience, I was able to understand the needs and the dimensions of online writing and I was able to start writing similar stories that matched the likes of the online customers.
Since then, I have not turned back on writing. I’m, an avid writer and has authored various digital content. I love creating motivating and self improvement content for my readers.
